Not sick!

I went to the doctor today and I do not have strep thank The Lord! Now I can go to the beach and have fun!!!

Not feeling so well :(

Oh no, my throat is starting to hurt a little bit and my voice is raspy! Beach in 44 wait......43 hours. I hope I am not getting a sore throat! I hope it is just allergies. Please.

Awkward.

Right now I am confessing my love for Blogging! My inspiration--Jenna Hamilton! Even though she is fictional I still aspire to be like her as a blogger!

Which reminds me, I have to watch Awkward. and Girl Code tomorrow! Yay for DVR Recording!

Tomorrow is Hump Day

Tomorrow for Hump Day I plan on wearing a Navy Eyelet dress with a Peach Cardigan and some cute sandals--Is that weird? I hope the dress long enough to wear to school. 

All-Star Race

This past weekend I went at the All-Star Race.  Normally you would never catch me in this crowd, but I went anyways.  My family was not planning on going but we got free tickets--so why not!  

Mama and I were eating at the K&W(my favorite place) and my dad called us saying,"I just got free tickets to the All-Star Race and we are going."  That was at 1:30 p.m.  Mama and I ate our food, ran an errand, and rushed home.  We arrived home at approximately 2:10.  The Josh Turner concert, that I really wanted to got to, started at 3:00.  I ran to get some shorts on (because I knew it would be as hot as Hades out there) and we left!  Dad dropped us off at the gate and we walked right in! We even got there just in time for the show to start and we got close to the stage--well sorta!  After the show, we knew that the race wouldn't start for another 3 hours or so, so Mama and I went to sit and do our favorite thing--people watch! My dad had arrived shortly after the concert had ended so we went to our seats.  I really thought I would not like it but I absolutely loved it! That was my first race and I cant wait to go to another!  Pics to follow!

Oreo Cheesecake Shakes

Beach bound for the weekend!  Haven't said that is a long while.  This Memorial day weekend, I will be feeling the sand at my toes and the salt in my hair with my best friends.  Meanwhile, these rednecks at home will be dashing to the Speedway for the 600.  Although I am very sad I will miss the 600 and Speed Street, I will be at my home away from home, in a happy state of mind.  But the beach is still 3 or 4 days away so I will tell you about my milkshake.  We went out for ice cream at the Sonic and I really wanted to stick to the diet, but of course I gave in and got a Mini Oreo Cheesecake Milkshake-YUM. Thinking it was 400 calories tops, I ate it all.  Even scraped the sides.  As soon as I got home I searched it online and BOOM, 740 calories.  Really? Are you kidding me? Ugh!  I need some motivation and willpower tips and an intervention!  Maybe I should let go and never look back.....
